There is nothing like giving your child a bath, toweling them off, and then helping them into a pair of freshly laundered pajamas. Children are winding down at this time of night, and a routine is the way to get the to the land of calm and sleep.
Children have favorite characters, and slipping into a pair of pajamas that feature them is an experience they look forward to. When my older daughter was four, I bought her a Disney Princess nightgown that was floor length, full of tulle, and featured her favorite princess, Ariel. She wore that until it was up to her knees, and then passed it onto her younger sister. We recently had to retire it because it was fourteen years old and now tattered.

If your daughter has seen the new Disney hit Frozen, then she surely must have been engaged by the two strong female leads, Elsa and Anna. Elsa is The Snow Queen whose magical powers have cast an eternal winter in the kingdom in which she lives. Her sister, Anna, is fiercely determined to find her sister once she runs away from what she has done, fearing that she will do even more harm.
No one has to tell these young women the difference between right and wrong. They are not only beautiful, but headstrong in what they believe, as seen in the argument that begins the plot of the movie.
Elsa and Anna remind me of Mulan, my favorite Disney movie character. She needed to rely on herself and her own smarts to succeed on her mission, with minimal help from her sidekicks Mushu and Crickee.
Girls who enjoyed watching Frozen will certainly love going to bed in pajamas featuring the characters from this film.
